Camps and Excursions

"Camps and excursions give our students the chance to build independence, strengthen friendships, and learn beyond the classroom."

At Appin Park Primary School, our camps and excursions provide students with meaningful opportunities to explore, discover, and learn beyond the classroom.

Students in Years 3 to 6 take part in a range of camp experiences that build on their growing independence and strengths as learners. These camps are designed to foster teamwork, resilience, and confidence through shared challenges and hands-on activities. Students develop important life skills, deepen friendships, and strengthen their sense of responsibility and belonging.

For our younger learners, Year 1 and 2 students enjoy a school sleepover that introduces them to the excitement of shared overnight experiences, with Foundation students joining in for the first part as a gentle transition.

Across all year levels, students participate in a variety of excursions throughout the year, visiting local and regional places that enrich classroom learning and strengthen their connection to the community.

These experiences inspire confidence, curiosity, and lifelong memories and are highly valued by our staff and school community.
